The SFE Façade Design and Engineering Awards are just one week away and we are delighted to share that Wintech project, Eden, New Bailey, has been shortlisted for two categories: New Build Project of the Year (UK) and Sustainability Project of the Year (UK). These awards recognise excellence in façade engineering across the UK and internationally.

Featuring Europe’s largest living wall, Eden is a landmark development in Salford, setting a new benchmark for biophilic and sustainable design.
Wintech provided Façade Engineering Consultancy services for the project, commissioned by the English Cities Fund. The building is designed to achieve net zero operational carbon, accredited BREEAM Outstanding, and rated EPC A and NABERS 5.5 which is the highest possible score recognised by the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC).
The Society of Façade Engineering (SFE) awards event follows the 200th edition of the Zak World of Façades Conference in London on 5 November 2025. We look forward to celebrating with our industry peers at the event next week!
