This project was unique in that outward opening doors were used to projecting balconies.  Whilst this is not unusual in itself, the doors were tested to destruction in conjunction with a range of hardware solutions to mitigate against wind gust damage.

An elegant façade encloses the curvaceous eight-storey One Chamberlain Square – the first building delivered at the £700m Paradise scheme in the heart of Birmingham.

Wintech is delighted to contribute our façade consultancy and access services expertise to Edition, an exceptional build-to-rent development in the cultural heart of Birmingham.

Designed by Stanton Williams, East Marshgate is part of University College London and sits within Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. From its inception, the project embraced a strategy of longevity, creating an adaptable, future-proof building. The façade features durable precast components, carefully arranged to convey solidity and elegance while enhancing energy efficiency through valuable shading.
