Citylabs 4.0 proudly marks its first anniversary this year, standing as a major milestone in Manchester’s life sciences landscape. We’re delighted that our Façade Engineering Consultancy services helped bring this landmark facility to life.
Located within Manchester’s Oxford Road Corridor, the city’s world‑leading innovation district, Citylabs 4.0 is a 125,000 sq ft laboratory and workspace facility designed to support the region’s rapidly growing life sciences ecosystem.

The development is part of the Citylabs campus masterplan, delivering specialist, high‑performance environments for organisations advancing precision medicine, diagnostics, digital health, genomics and biotechnology. The £42m project was created to encourage deeper collaboration between the NHS, academia and industry.
Working in partnership with Bruntwood SciTech, our specialists delivered comprehensive façade consultancy throughout the project as part of our continued involvement across the wider Citylabs masterplan.
We remain committed to contributing to projects that push the boundaries of engineering excellence while delivering meaningful societal benefit.
