How do you successfully help transform the façade of one of Manchester’s most recognisable modular residential buildings while meeting modern fire safety requirements? This was the challenge behind the remediation of Moho, Manchester.
Originally constructed from prefabricated living pods and assembled in the heart of the Northern Quarter, the building underwent a comprehensive façade remediation programme as it matured, helping to achieve compliance with updated fire safety regulations while enhancing its long-term resilience.
Working closely with developers BWP Building & Project Consultants and BTP Architects, we played a key role throughout the project as façade consultants, supporting the design team, contractor and wider stakeholders in navigating the complexities of working with a modular, pod‑based structure.
