Kal Uheida joins panel of professionals at Edinburgh Napier University

Wintech Façade Engineer, Kal Uheida, recently joined a panel of industry professionals and lecturers at Edinburgh Napier University to observe, assess, and grade the fourth-year presentations of Civil Engineering students.
The students were tasked with an integrated design project involving the design of a stadiumcomplex, including a multi-storey car park and a temporary grid shell structure. Each team member took on a specialist role—ranging from project management and structural engineering to sustainability, transportation, and geotechnical design.
The panel engaged in Q&A sessions, evaluated the technical and design elements of the projects, and collaborated to determine final grades.
Kal commented “It was a really enjoyable day with some engaging presentations to discuss with the lecturers and other industry professionals.”
