We believe that the most impactful learning happens through experience.

Last week, our graduate engineers joined members of the Façade team for a guided tour of Birmingham city centre, exploring a number of projects our multidisciplinary teams have helped deliver over the years. Led by Director James Emery, alongside Head of Façade Design Mark Voss and Principal Façade Engineer Tapiwa Kapofu, the session provided a valuable opportunity for our graduates to connect theoretical principles to practical façade engineering.

Experiences like this sit at the heart of our Graduate Programme where we believe that developing future engineers requires more than technical training. Learning directly from industry experts and gaining exposure to live projects helps build the confidence to apply knowledge in practice.

From the beginning, graduates are encouraged to be active contributors rather than observers, working alongside experienced professionals on projects that help shape the built environment across the UK and beyond. Through hands-on experience and mentorship, they develop the skills needed to build successful careers in engineering consultancy.

Applications for our 2027 Graduate Programme are now open, apply here.
