Wootton Community & Sports Centre involved the extension and enhancement of an existing community facility to provide new community, sports, library and café accommodation for residents of Wootton, Northampton. The development created a modern and flexible space designed to support a wide range of community activities and services.

We provided the mechanical and electrical engineering design for the project, working closely with the wider design team throughout the design and construction process. The project incorporated heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting, power, fire alarm, security, data and access control systems to support the varied operational requirements of the facility.

The team remained involved throughout construction, commissioning and handover, providing technical support, design reviews and coordination with the contractor and client team. Particular attention was given to the integration of modern building services within a busy community environment whilst ensuring energy efficiency and occupant comfort. The completed development achieved an EPC rating of B.
