The Victoria Centre is a shopping centre in the heart of Nottingham, and it occupies the site of the former Nottingham Victoria railway station. The station was demolished in 1967, except for two structures: the former station clock tower and the Victoria Station Hotel. These were the only elements of the original station preserved during the redevelopment.

The clock tower was constructed between 1898 and 1900. It measures approximately 7m x 7m in plan and rises to a height of approximately 37m, culminating in the peak of its domed roof. The dome is clad in copper, with round-arched windows situated below it, and is crowned by a weathervane. The tower is built of red brick, featuring stone balconies, stone balustrades at 4th floor and 6th floor levels on all sides, and complemented by corner turrets. The 5th floor of the tower is equipped with a clock dial on each of its four sides.

Wintech were commissioned to carry out a drone survey of the external fabric, a non-intrusive survey of the interior, and to report on our findings. The report included a series of recommendations regarding maintaining the structural integrity of the tower.
