Investing in young people is an investment in the future of our industry.
Thank you to Laura Fletcher, Director of Careers at Thomas Telford UTC for inviting Wintech’s Tapiwa Kapofu, Senior Façade Engineer, to speak with Year 10 students about careers in engineering and the role façade engineering plays in shaping the built environment.
Early exposure to industry can make a real difference. It helps students connect classroom learning with future career pathways, build confidence and better understand the opportunities available to them.
Tapiwa has supported Thomas Telford UTC over several years, taking part in various session types and sharing honest insight from his own career journey. As an education & outreach ambassador for the Society of Façade Engineering (SFE), he continues to help raise awareness of the profession and encourage young people to explore careers in our sector.
