Last week, Wintech’s graduates had the incredible opportunity to step out of the office and onto the site of prestigious Aldermanbury Square project, accompanied by Armin Berenjian, (Associate) Senior Structural Engineer. This visit was part of their façade consultancy rotation, and it provided a hands-on experience of putting theory into practice.
The graduates were able to immerse themselves in the technical intricacies of façade engineering, exploring how the early decisions in design and consultancy come to life on-site. This kind of exposure is a key element of Wintech’s two-year graduate programme, designed to nurture future leaders by rotating through all disciplines, working with industry experts, and tackling real-world challenges.
Aldermanbury Square is a landmark project design by Eric Parry Architects : an iconic 18-storey tower in the heart of the City of London. With its stunning views of St. Paul’s Cathedral and central London, the building has a decorated history, including:
– Shortlisted for the Stirling Prize (2009)
– Winner of a RIBA Award (2009)
– British Council for Offices Regional and National Commercial Workplace Awards (2008)
We’re proud to be appointed as Façade Consultants on this prestigious project, collaborating with CBRE to support our client Savills alongside Fletcher Priest Architects.
It’s this level of collaboration and expertise that allows our graduates to learn from the best while contributing to exceptional projects like Aldermanbury Square.
