Wintech’s Principal Fire Surveyor, Andy Ng, recently had the pleasure of delivering a CPD session on Fire Risk Appraisal of External Walls (FRAEW) and the role of the assessor to second-year part-time Building Control students at the University of Wolverhampton.

Dr. Nick Williams, Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for Building Control, highlighted the value of these sessions, stating: “We look forward to more collaborative initiatives that bridge academia and industry, fostering knowledge exchange and preparing the next generation of professionals entering the built environment.”

Andy shared: “It was a pleasure to present to such an engaged group of students. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my expertise and contribute to their professional development.”

A special thank you to Dr. Paul Hampton and Dr. Nick Williams from the School of Architecture & Built Environment for organising this event. We look forward to continued collaboration in shaping the future of fire safety and building control.
