A BBQ with the Fire Engineering team – what could possibly go wrong?

As September begins, our Director of Fire Engineering, James Lane, welcomed his team to his home in the Cambridgeshire countryside, where they enjoyed one of the last sunny afternoons of the summer and the chance to catch up outside the office.
With family members joining us, it was a relaxed afternoon of good food, a few drinks and plenty of conversation and a welcome opportunity to spend time together away from the office.
James took charge of the BBQ, while the rest of the team concentrated on the important job of enjoying it.
A simple afternoon, but a good reminder that some of the best conversations happen when there’s no meeting agenda.
