Completed in 2010, The Cube stands as one of Birmingham’s most iconic architectural landmarks and plays a key role in shaping the city’s evolving skyline.
Wintech are proud to have provided comprehensive façade design and consultancy services throughout the project. The Cube’s façade was delivered using a highly bespoke system of unitised modules and prefabricated elements, precision-engineered by Haga in Germany and assembled on site, showcasing advanced façade engineering at its best.

Designed by Ken Shuttleworth and the team at Make Architects, The Cube draws inspiration from a jewellery box, paying tribute to Birmingham’s rich jewellery heritage. Its bold geometric form and shimmering, tessellated façade create a striking visual identity, elevating the city’s architectural landscape.
The Cube is not only a visual statement but also a multifunctional destination. Behind its intricate exterior lies a dynamic mix of residential apartments, premium office space, boutique retail, a private spa, and Birmingham’s first rooftop restaurant, all contributing to its reputation as a true urban landmark.

Octagon
