This week, Wintech Commercial Engineer and Associate, Ash Vipat, presented at the RICS Building Surveying Conference in the City of London.

Ash shared the stage with Jay Ridings from TFT and delivered an informative session on “Navigating the Latest Defects”, covering the latest diagnostic techniques, real-world defect case studies, and practical methods to help surveyors identify, report, and mitigate building risks more effectively.

Commenting on the event, Ash stated: “It was a pleasure to speak at the RICS Building Surveying Conference, and I am grateful to have shared the stage with so many respected voices from across the industry. Thank you to RICS for hosting such a well-curated programme, and to everyone who attended and contributed to the conversation.”

The event provided valuable perspectives on the evolving landscape of surveying, with discussions around innovation, regulatory changes, and the broader market forces shaping our sector.

Special thanks to Jay Ridings from TFT for the opportunity to co-present this session, Helen McKeown, RICS Conference Chair and Interim Chair for the RICS BS&BC PGP.
