The first project to be delivered by Birmingham & Solihull LIFT, Chelmsley Wood is the trailblazer to a programme to regenerate the whole of North Solihull. The building has a community focus, acting as a one-stop-shop for health and social care needs, bringing together under one roof, GP services, community health services, mental health services, social services, a dentist and a pharmacy, as well as a walk-in centre and minor surgery unit. Its community café, which acts as a local meeting place and somewhere to get healthy, nutritious food, pays testament to the ability of primary care to help prevent ill health.
Wintech provided concept design, detailed design and specification to Stage 5, as built-drawings, thermal modelling and BRUKL & EPC analysis.
