Richard has a background in Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry, and, prior to Wintech, over a decades experience in materials research, development and manufacture. He has a specialism in glass and glazing, to complement his façade knowledge. He is currently a Member of the Society of Façade Engineering.

At Wintech, Richard provides a range of façade related services, including defect and failure analysis, specification, tender reviews, design audits, site observation, and expert witness.
