Olympia Takes Shape with Inspiring Curved Glass Canopy

The completion of the awe-inspiring glass canopy is a pivotal moment at the heart of the evolution of Olympia which is being reimagined as a global destination for entertainment and culture.
Incredible new images have been released showing views of the canopy which comprises five large curved steel arches, each with a span of 22 metres. Its pleated glazing motif is inspired by the façade of the Grade II listed Grand Hall.
Lead consultant, Pablo Ochoa, commented: “It’s been fantastic to be part of the team and see this project come to life. Wintech have been closely collaborating with Laing O’Rourke and Octatube to deliver this iconic landmark, which will undoubtedly be a focal point for the Olympia development. We continue to work on other plots across Olympia and look forward to seeing these completed and constructed in the near future.”
