Wintech were delighted to attend this year’s FADE (Façade Access Design Engineering) technical seminar, held at the Building Centre in Central London earlier this week. This is the 3rd edition of the FADE Technical Seminar and it follows the success of previous events in 2024 & 2025.
The FADE Seminar brings specialists together from across the sector to examine practical challenges around strategy, system design, installation, maintenance and compliance, supported by detailed presentations from practitioners working directly in these areas.
Gabriel Grant, Head of Façade Access Consultancy and Olga Donica, Façade Access Engineer, attended the event along with Graduate Engineer Lori Hodson.

Gabriel Grant commented, “It was a valuable opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and take part in a focused technical forum dedicated to façade access design and engineering.
Sessions throughout the day offered a clear view of the issues currently influencing façade access, from data-led performance insights and new innovations, to structural design considerations for fall protection and rope access, competency and system reliability. Our thanks go to all of the speakers who contributed; their practical experience and technical clarity played a key role in supporting an informed and constructive discussion.”
From concept to completion, our team develop façade access solutions and strategies that will provide safe access to all areas of the building envelope for cleaning, general maintenance, repairs, and glass replacement.
